“To be honest, it’s a bit of an anxious moment, especially if the amount is large. The app shows Processing, but until I get that final confirmation, my mind is stuck. I keep wondering if the money left my account but hasn't reached the destination. It’s that In-between state that is the most stressful.”

Q: Have you ever manually opened your bank app right after a payment just to double-check the status?

"Yes! Almost every time I am in a hurry. I recently paid a huge credit card bill because I needed to make another big purchase immediately. Even though the payment app said success, I went straight to my banking app to see if my credit limit was actually restored.

Q: "If a payment is taking longer than usual, who do you usually hold responsible?

"Gussa toh app pe hi aata hai because that’s the interface I’m looking at. I have no idea if the servers are down or any glitches. If the app just told me, 'Hey, HDFC servers are slow right now,' I’d be much calmer because I’d know it’s not a 'lost money' situation."

Q: If you saw a Trust Score moving in real-time based on bank health and security, would that help?

"Even if the payment is slow, Knowing where it is stuck atleast feels better than not knowing what is happing in the backend. If something like this is possible then it will be very good."
